Summer in the Fall for LA Beaches. After a 2010 summer of cloud layers everyone wondered if the climate changes were real. The good news is that its over..and the heat wave of the summer elsewhere allowed our residents the choice of staying cool at home or taking a drive East about 3 miles and enjoying the sunshine over there. The Swimming pools in our area are a wonderful treat for our children year round. Where else is this going on?

One person told me that the Rose Bowl showing our local weather to the world caused more people to move to the beaches than any other thing.  Could be? But for me- I moved to California in 1968 and it was like coming home forever. I lived in Hollywood, N. Hollywood, Sun Valley, Handcock Park 1972 and our  first home cost 45K , Woodland Hills 1983 then Hermosa Beach 1986. You can see the economics getting better.

Hermosa area is truly one of the best Beach cities to live in. Our open houses this weekend were sunny and warm but best of all, the sparking Blue Pacific was RADIANT.
