Buyers, if you plan to buy a home soon, you will need to know “where you are going.” For a most enjoyable home-buying experience, first build a roadmap to your new home, a list of priorities that will lead you to your objective - a new home!
The first priority is to see what is your price point, your location to buy and your time frame. The lending world is changing and improving every day to work with the current economic issues. Our Government wants you to be able to buy a home. It may take 30-90 days (or more) to locate the right home, secure financing, and complete the home-buying process.
The next priority is to create a detailed description of the home you hope to find. Some call it a crystalization process, or a dream image. We work with the whole family to create the list. One clients daughter wanted the quality of the home to be “Famlyish.” See, everyone gets to help create the search criteria to help you distinguish between “Need to Have” features and “Nice to Have” features will save you lots of time and stress. Be Specific. Include architectural style, number of bedrooms and baths, location, lot size, and other special requirements. Number your preferences in order of greatest importance to you.
There’s nothing we take more seriously than helping people find new homes they love. During the home search, we will:
-
Discuss the benefits and drawbacks of each home you are shown.
-
Keep you informed on a regular basis.
-
Check the MLS database and with other brokers regularly for new listings.
-
Prepare a list of all homes that best meet your unique needs and wants.
-
Keep you up to date on changing financial conditions that may affect the housing market.
-

Real Estate a first time buyer’s dream
0 Comments Published by popelynne March 21st, 2008 in Buyers. by popelynneYou don’t know you are dreaming
You are walking down a path to see a house. It has a pink gross curtain hanging halfway over a window.
The expectation is doubtful that the place will be habitable. The blue box is opened by the realtor as it hangs off the doorknob. Inside it has new carpet and a kitchen peeking around the corner of the living room. It is actually really nice. Its new in this old house. I open the door. The concrete is broken and so it the glass on a window of the garage. The yard has been neglected its kind of sad and overgrown. Back inside the house the rooms are nice. All the shades are drawn. you open them up and the room is newly painted now the room with the pink curtian. Its so silly who would do this. You see a deal right away and want to rescue the home. It is a short sale and there are 3 offers. The bank and the selling agent is clueless you can see right away. The pink curtian is a sign…maybe just stay away. You wake up and find yourself not asleep at all…just wondering if you should go down that road and fight a battle you may not win. Its easier to just buy one that the normal people are selling you think and you say. However you know you could do so much there. It might just be worth it the work and the care. So you write that offer and prove that you care.
