Beach Activities in “South Bay” of Los Angeles

Cultural centers abound, and recreational activities are seemingly limitless in supply. Each South Bay community offers a truly unmatched quality of life. Beaches are breathtaking, and nearby mountain ranges form a scenic embrace. From surfing to skiing, the south bay has it all. It is no wonder that, for an ever-increasing number of families. The cities in the South Bay are El Segundo, Manhattan Beach,Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, Torrance, Palos Verdes. The inferance is that these cities touch the water. All have a different unique size, shape, and feature of activity. The one consistant is to go see the sunset. The Sunset at the water calls out to everyone nearby to come stop for a short time and really be with the beautiful close of the sun on the ocean and sky.
Surfing, Swimming, sunning, dining, skimboarding, kite surfing, walking, and on and on.
Shopping at specific surf shops. One favorite is Beckers Surf Shop on Pier Ave. This is the place to buy surfboards, clothing and attire inc watches and sunglasses.
Parking here is not easy. Just a fact to consider.

Manhattan Beach has the marine layer-mild temperatures to enjoy the beach year round. Million dollar homes on tree-lined streets bathed in sunshine make lifestyle memorable.
