BEE Season in Redondo BEach!

bee removal popelynne

The Avenues in Redondo have just had a huge hive of wonderful bees removed from the area by Bee Catchers 866- 544 0074. They provided the humane moving service to take the whole colony away to newer diggs. The local kids were getting stung playing in their yards. Cartwheeling, baseball and gymnastics had all but stopped for a while. The kids have had to be cautious before.

Some of us have NO on a dog to ask for the yards to be free of dog visitors who can use the area between the sidewalk and street.

Back to Bees. www.beecatcherssocal.com  remove and relocate these useful busy little buzzers.  Google bee removal to find other great groups like www.beerescue.com/

Our neighbors used the first group although there may be local groups too. There are 50 types of bumble bees in N. America. Every bee is a good bee.

The removal guys come out and remove the siding, remove the hive and a ton of bees. the worker bees left buzzing around will hang around for about 2 weeks. Wow how would you feel if the whole town left and you and your patrol group were all that was left of the group…Twilight zone…yea I know.

Having a listing in Gardena has been a training ground for REO and Short Sale properties.

But know this…the offers are starting to come in after a long dry spell.

Is it spring? Is it the awareness of the buyers that interest rates will rise?

The news is news….multiple offers are out there right now…and it is bumping up the numbers on the offers.

South Bay investors are sometimes frustrated that few properties are in our local areas. When we do have a bank owned property it will sell with multiple offers if it is a good deal.  All properties have to be a good deal for people to sign up and buy it. That is a fact. 90505 in Torrance had a 4 br 2 bath Bank owned property with a pool. It sold for close to 510,000. this year with 5 offers and no kitchen! 90503 area had a sale of a 3 bedroom home, in great condition for 570,000. with several offers and 2 were all cash. What was the story behind the forclosures? One was that the owner passed on and the relatives who inherited it didn’t pay the bills, the taxes and they lost it. Homes in those zip codes move quickly if they are under the 600K mark. It’s a needle in a haystack to find them. Sometimes out of area agents post the listing in the wrong area. It takes an alert, busy, agent to find the deal and to win the deal. It still goes to the highest offer or the strongest financing.

Foreclosure Activity up 6% in February-Six California cities registered foreclosure rates among the top 10: Stockton at No. 3 (one in 67 housing units), Modesto at No. 4 (one in 68), Merced at No. 5 (one in 74), Riverside-San Bernardino at No. 6 (one in 80), Bakersfield at No. 7 (one in 85), and Vallejo-Fairfield at No. 10 (one in 111). gardena

My costume designer’s home in Gardena is a great spot for someone who wants a lot of storage. The bonus room has one long closet with mirror doors. Isn’t it darling. She fell in love with the parquet wood floors. She went on to add the bamboo through all the bedrooms. New flooring in the kitchen-laundry and bathroom and new kitchen appliances grace an already great home. The fruit trees are mature and bearing. The driveway can park 4 cars plus a 2 car garage. This is for professionals who need to drive only a short way to access the freeways. It is blue and white charming.

I have it showcased on Realtor.com in Gardena in the 350-400 price range area to shop. It is also on Trulia, and a ton of other sites. I’m about to add it to Craigs list too. I am open to ideas from other agents on marketing on the internet.

speechless -MLS photo “toilet”

There is a “short sale” for sale in Carson that has been “short changed” in the MLS photo department

Short sales are a difficult business. For everyone. I could go on and on, but the result is that a bank owned is easier for Realtors and the clients.

The description-nice 4br/2ba home in carson area -this home offers four bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, family kitchen, lots of storage, small private backyard and more.
