So why use this step? It is the most logical way to show a moving story. It is simple and yummy. Interesting and well presented. It really makes one like them too.
Its easy utube, its local, and people like me, want to keep in touch.
What can we do better to feature our local area?
Thank you Ken Burns for the development in Cinematography. As a graduate of American Film Institute in Los Angeles California I learned to appreciate all advances in Cinema.
I went to www.Wikipedia.org to look up further details. As always I was facinated with what Ken Burns inspiration came from.
This excerpt explains.
“Burns has credited documentary filmmaker Jerome Liebling for teaching him how still photographs could be incorporated into documentary films.[2] He has also cited the classic 1957 National Film Board of Canada documentary City of Gold, co-directed by Colin Low and Wolf Koenig, as a source of inspiration for this technique.[3][4][5] Winner of the Palme d’or at the Cannes Film Festival and nominated for an Academy Award,[6] City of Gold used animation camera techniques to slowly pan and zoom across archival footage of Canada’s Klondike Gold Rush.[7]
The British Broadcasting Corporation’s documentary series The Great War, first shown in 1964, used both extensively.[citation needed]”
Finally, I arrive full circle. Blogging is a circle. It draws a line from one dot to another until a circle closes up and
a communication is narrowed into a meeting. I guess why it became such a social network too.
